Many people have told me that just like they can go out and pay for accounting advice or legal advice, they’d like the same for real estate without the sense of obligation or competitiveness or expense that exists in the current real estate business model. They’re looking for some unbiased consulting to help them decide what to do. For example, what’s their property worth; what’s happening in the market; what about taxes and property exchanges; what about using Roth IRAs to buy property; talk to us about all these different loan offers we’re inundated with, what’s the return on our equity in these apartments, should we sell them, or exchange them; what’s the difference between a full service broker and a discount broker, what are we giving up or getting that’s extra for the additional dollars in commission. etc. etc. etc.

And who are these guys with the fancy web sites, big advertising budgets and bigger promises of discounts and rebates like Redfin, Zillow and HouseValues. What do they know and how can you trust internet web sales people to care about your personal circumstances. (Hint, you can’t). If they can sell my house for that why can’t you.

Well, I’m brick and mortar. I back up my web presence with genuine flesh and blood right down here on Jensen Way. And I also listen to what you want. So I have fashioned my brokerage according to your wishes. For a small consulting fee, we can spend a couple hours going over just what your needs and concerns are. I’ll explain to you how I work, what the industry says about your particular issue and recommend a course of action based on best practices within the industry, your particular investment and common sense. We can fashion a plan that fits your budget, your personal level of involvement in the transaction, your experience and your financial goals.

You agree to pay a minimal consulting fee for this advice. Given you choose to engage Salmon Capital’s brokerage services or property management to expand on and/or execute the plan this consulting fee will be reimbursed. If not, you’ve got some good advice to apply to your own unique situation, invaluable data that makes you smarter and that will make you money in your real estate endeavors whatever they are.
